How to determine skip size requirements
When it comes to the size and capacity of a skip, the general rule is that 1 cubic yard can hold around 1 tonne of waste material (or 1,000kg).
If you’re able to estimate how much waste your project is likely to generate, you can use this information to calculate the skip size you’re likely to need.
